The financial support that resulted from the 2017 edition of the Ser Solidário (Be Compassionate) initiative at CUF, José de Mello and José de Mello Saúde, was handed to the recipients on April 12. The Congregation of the Little Sisters of the Poor, the Passo a Passo Association and Santa Maria de Avanca’s Parish Social Center were the three entities most voted by CUF’s donors. Each charity received four thousand euros.
In the case of Brisa, which follows a different model, support was granted to the institutions “O Caracol”, CERCICOA, the Association for the Development of Galegos and the Gulpilhares’ Delegation of the SOS Children Village. Each received 22 thousand euros, that were handed during the company's Board Meeting, which took place on March 23 and aggregated two years of the Ser Solidário programme.
